Babysitting

Want to know what a good babysitter I am? We have photographic evidence.
Good thing I was not the ONLY babysitter huh?
Tyrel loves Kyle so much. Yet we have found someplace Tyrel thinks Kyle is NOT welcome. That is in the Ergo, on HIS mommy. Which is okay, because I was trying to wear Kyle on my front, and TWO babies do not fit in the Ergo together, even if one isn't born yet. I can still carry Tyrel on my back though.

The Many Faces Of Tyrel

I was taking pictures of Tyrel eating an orange and a peach with MJ. The ones with MJ all turned out with him looking embarrassed for having a camera pointed in his general direction, so I won't post them. What is it with almost 13 year old boys? I can't say as I blame him, I get really embarrassed when a camera is pointed at me also. I try not to show it too much, because as the one taking the pictures alot, I know how annoying it can be for everyone to act goofy in front of the camera. But really I don't know how to act when one is pointed at me either. Especially if I have Tyrel or someone in my lap, and I'm not sure if they are taking my picture also, or just getting Ty and cutting me out. I don't want to sit there with a goofy smile if they don't want to take my picture, but I don't want to avoid looking at the camera too much either if they ARE trying to get me in it. So anyways, back to Tyrel and his unashamed cuteness.
He is getting so big
So Sweet.Watching MJ's hand.Saying "Peach"I know this one is blurry, but that is just SUCH a Tyrel look.

Cousins

Today Tyrel has got to spend all day with his youngest cousin Kyle. His mommy has started college for the fall, and Granola gets to babysit him! Tyrel LOVES Kyle. Any baby really. He wants to get to be the one to hold him, even though Kyle is not that much smaller than him. He also keeps calling Kyle, Tyrel or sometimes just Baby. I think it will be good for Tyrel to be around him before the baby is born in October. Maybe it will help him to realise he isn't the center of the universe. Which so far, he seems to be okay with that. As long as he can hold Kyle.

I'm Back

I have been in the DFW area helping with some family stuff the past week. It was nice to spend time with family, even if the circumstances were not what we would have liked.
Now I am back to home on the range.
While I was gone my MIL got 3 new milk cows and 2 new dogs. We have several dogs around here, but they are all pets or hunting dogs. These dogs are "guardian" dogs. They help keep varmints and such away from the animals. We used to have some, but over time they got old and died, and we were fresh out. They are Great Pyrenees and Great Pyrenees/Anatolian mix. Their names are Grizzly and Snowball.Tommy is trying to make friends with the new pups, since the last dog they got does not like him or Stephen at all. She never has.

The milk cows are Jerseys. The one above is Buckets. I didn't get a picture of Blossom.Stephen was trying to teach Hershey to lead, but she decided to lay down instead. So Stephen sat down with her and pretended to "meditate" so I took their picture.Tyrel and Granola petted on the calf that will be sucking one of the cows, then Ty chased some of the chicks and chickens around. Then everyone helped get the milk goats in for MN. Well except me, who just took pictures. The one on the far right of the picture is Montana, she is "my" milk goat. She doesn't belong to me, but I used to milk her. Stephen had said she was probably dried up after I had been to Ohio almost a month, so I haven't been milking her, but MN says she isn't, so I may start milking again one of these days. I really enjoy it. Here are also a few pictures of Tyrel and Stephen in the barn.

Feeling Much Better

Tyrel and I went back home after I had been over here (the computer I use is my in laws- we don't have one) for a little while earlier. We got home and I turned on my Serene and Pearl (Above Rubies) cd, and started peeling the green chiles I had roasted last night. I was praying for myself, and having an attitude adjustment, while peeling chiles when I saw Stephen pull up. He had been gone all night long and I was not expecting him before tonight. I immediately said "Thank You God", he knew just what I needed. So Stephen walked in the door and I hugged him and burst out crying...very not like me...well the crying, hugging him is normal. He asked what was wrong and all I could say between sobs was " I have no idea, I was just fine, I am just so glad you are home". I just know he was thinking that women are weird, but he hugged me and let me get over my crying.
He is back at work now, but should be home tonight. Then leaves for Utah tomorrow. Anyways, just letting you know that my day turned out good, despite the bad start.
